When visiting Koh Lipe, part of the Tarutao National Marine Park in Thailand, you are required to pay a National Park fee. This fee contributes to the preservation and maintenance of the islands and the marine park
National Park Fee at Koh Lipe:
- Foreigners:
- Adults: 200 THB per person
- Children: 100 THB per person
- Thai Nationals:
- Adults: 40 THB per person
- Children: 20 THB per person
This fee is usually collected upon arrival by boat on Koh Lipe or at nearby islands within the Tarutao National Marine Park. If you are participating in activities like snorkeling or diving in the marine park, you may need to show proof of payment, so keep your ticket as it is typically valid for 7 days.
The fee applies whether you plan to explore the surrounding islands or just stay on Koh Lipe itself.
For the route from Kuah Jetty in Langkawi to Koh Lipe. When you arrived at Koh Lipe. Need to immigration process before.
After that, you must go to the National Park officer’s counter to pay for the National Park fee. The counter is closed to Immigration office. You can pay by cash [Thai baht].
